Do You Know a British Centenarian? We'd Love to Hear From You.
Based on latest figures, the count of people aged 100 and above in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the total of men aged 100 or over has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. Over the same period, the amount of women aged 100 or over increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are keen to receive stories from individuals who have reached 100, their loved ones or companions, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s transformative changes and shifts.
